In the world of equine photography Graham Gannon has built himself a reputation for eye catching work while his wife, Frances, has perfected the art of turning these beautiful images into sympathetic and quality prints.

Trained in the fashion industry, Graham gained experience as an assistant to leading photographers. In his spare time he photographed country pursuits for friends and discovered a natural talent for working with horses, recognized as a difficult but stimulating subject. This led to him being asked to photograph the BHS Hunter Trials Series in 2000.

He was probably the first in the business to utilise the then young and largely experimental digital media and over the years has developed techniques to take full advantage of its unique capabilities.

Frances, meanwhile, turned her attention to the production of photographs from digital images, using her customer service skills to streamline the process and develop a fast and efficient system so that prints of photographs taken at an event are available to take away on the day; alternatively they can be ordered at leisure through the view and purchase images area on the website.

Imagepoint Events attend six equestrian National Championships every year plus a wide range of other equine events. Their work covers varying disciplines:

  • dressage
  • show jumping
  • eventing
  • hunter trials
  • point to point
  • team chase

They are also recognized for their young horse images which are widely used by stud sites and professional riders.

Importantly, their talents are recognized by some of the biggest names in the business including many of the best known riders in show jumping, eventing and dressage who regularly commission photos or purchase action shots of their horse's performances.

Memories fade; bring them back into focus with Imagepoint Events.
